Retrofit Backgauge Packages for Hydraulic Shears

Make your Hydraulic Shear versatile and user-friendly by adding a backgauge from Betenbender Mfg., Inc. Our retrofit backgauges can fit almost any machine, usually with no or minimal modifications to your machine and are easy to install.

For shears, 3 packages are available –
1.   Backgauge Package:  Rear Operated Manual, with   spring- loaded backbar, mechanical readout and handwheel. 
2.   Backgauge Package:  Front Operated Electric (forward-reverse with variable speed DC controller) LED readout and backgauge with spring loaded backbar.  Available in 4’–12’ bar lengths. 
Optional:  “GO-TO” 5-position controller (for above package).
3.   Controller Package:  (for existing Manual Operated Backgauges) Electric, front operated, variable speed controller w/LED readout.   Available in 4’–12’ bar lengths. 
Optional:  “GO-TO” 5-position controller (for above package).
